Robert Ahaness was born in 1934 in the Philippines. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 1996, Mr. Ahaness became a member of the prestigious Chinese Writers Association of the Philippines, an organization composed of authors from around the world
In 2000, he was named Best Filipino Author by the Guillermo Ossman Foundation for Literature and Arts. His books have been translated into several languages – Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Russian – and include: The Brotherhood of Death (2008) The Man Who Reads Too Much (2010) The Immortals (2012) The Men from Trinity (2014) In his creative pursuits as a writer, Mr. Ahaness is also a poet and a painter.
